#THAT was inspired by the wave of hashtags that flooded social media, #MeToo, #BlackLivesMatter, and many others. These movements revealed how much people long to be heard, to belong, to matter. Rather than reducing these human struggles to fleeting trends, my work reflects on the deeper need for connection and action beyond the screen. The globe of colored dots symbolizes people of every race, gender, and background ; distinct, yet part of one shared whole. #THAT becomes my own hashtag, a way to question how we engage with society’s conversations, debates, and voices.
